Overview
For the 14th annual BCCCD in January 2024, I was tasked with creating a visually engaging cover for the conference’s Program and Abstracts booklet. The goal was to design a cover that represented the themes of cognitive development while reflecting Budapest’s cultural identity. The design needed to resonate with a scientific audience and maintain versatility across various platforms.

Design Process​​
Research: I explored the conference’s focus on cognitive development and the significance of growth and progression in human cognition, while also considering Budapest’s cultural heritage.​
Concept Development: I developed a visual concept that integrated a brain and a tree, symbolizing cognitive growth. The stages of leaf growth were used to represent the evolution of thought. Inspired by Hungarian folk art, I included vibrant colors and floral patterns to connect the design to the conference’s location.
Final Design: The final design combined these elements to create a meaningful and culturally resonant booklet cover. The design was prominently featured at the conference, enhancing the presentation of the program materials.
